How to Get a Happiny

Happiny can be summoned by the following Wild Pokemon:

[Wild Pokémon that can summon Happiny]

  • Route 1/ Hau’oli City Edge: Pichu / Bonsly / Munchlax
  • Hau’oli City: Pichu
  • Route 4: Igglybuff
  • Route 5: Bonsly
  • Route 6: Igglybuff [Day]
  • Shade Jungle: Bonsly

Be sure to catch one when it intrudes a SOS battle.

Alternatively, you can breed Chansey or its evolution, while its holding a Luck Incense, with a Male Pokemon that belongs to the same Egg Group to obtain a Happiny Egg.

How to Get a Chansey

Chansey can be summoned by the following Wild Pokemon:

  • Mount Hokulani: Cleffa
  • Route 12: Elekid
  • Hotel Yamamasa: Elekid

Be sure to catch one when it intrudes a SOS battle.

Alternatively, you can have Happiny level-up while holding an Oval Stone in the morning to evolve it into Chansey.

It will evolve when it levels-up when Chansey’s happiness is high.
