Call of Duty WWII’s Zombie Mode
Call of Duty WWII’s Zombie Mode is one of the most anticipated portions of the latest CoD game. Players, who have played the former Call of Duty games, always found this particular mode to be enjoyable. With the Zombie Mode being similar to Left for Dead but with a new twist, Call of Duty WWII’s Zombie Mode mixes a little bit of history in it. Despite World War II coming to an end, the Nazi’s left one last set of abominations for one last laugh.
What to expect?
Jon Horsley, the lead director of Call of Duty WWII, mentioned that this is one of the few most “terrifying” ones he’s ever created. Considering that he’s now working with Sledgehammer Studios, he has more backing in the horror department. Sledgehammer Studios has a long history of making horror games. In fact, some of the pioneers of the game “Dead Space” are still in Sledgehammer Studios.
While it does maintain the usual wave after wave zombie attack, Horsley mentioned the basic premise. The zombie attack occurs in a small, quiet German town of Bavaria. However, players will have a chance to explore. Dark bloody sewers littered with the rotting body parts of soldiers and civilians alike. The foul sight of chemicals, blood, and other fluids soiling up the dirt with ancient tombs scattered all around town.
Unlike the usual zombies, these zombies have brains. Yes, ironic as it sounds, they have brains. As a last ditch attempt to win the war, the Nazis trained these zombies to move and fight in a specific way. There are some Runner-type zombies; there are some that are made for Flaming. He also adds that this is going to take a “little more strategy” rather than just the usual shoot-to-kill methods in the usual Call of Duty games.
Well, hyped up for it? Bet you are! Don’t worry, it’s coming out this November! No need to wait too long.
