Location	Location
Emerald 1	Tower Lobby: Go through the hidden passage near the handle to the small room under the stairs to get the Gem. Can be obtained in B-1, B-2, B-3, B-4, and B-Bonus levels.
Emerald 2	Laboratories: Use the bubble fruit to reach the third floor. Then, suck up the Gem in the glass tube. Can be obtained in B-1 and and B-Bonus levels.
Emerald 3	Courtyard: Fill the bucket with water and water the second vine from the front. Use the Strobulb to make the flower bloom to get the Gem. Can be obtained in B-2, B-5, and B-Bonus levels.
Emerald 4	Botany Lab: Activate the device using the Strobulb. When water comes out, fill the bucket with water. Then, water the vine and use the Strobulb to make the flower bloom and get the Gem. Can be obtained in B-2, B-3, B-5, and B-Bonus levels.
Emerald 5	Seedling Lab: Fire a walnut to shoot the Mimmy running around on the shelves to get the Gem. Can be obtained in B-2, B-3, B-4, and B-Bonus levels.
Emerald 6	Tower Lobby: Make the two pipes appear on the landing of the Tower Lobby. Defeat the Pakoon in the Tower Lobby Garden with the thorny fruit in the storeroom. Then, get the gem from the treasure chest at the back. Can be obtained in B-2, B-3, B-4, and B-Bonus levels.
Emerald 7	Hollow Tree: Fill the bucket with water from the pond. Then, water the vine on the right and use the Strobulb to make it bloom. To get this Gem in B-3, you need to light the ball of thread on fire to burn the spider’s nest on the left. Can be obtained in B-3, B-5, and B-Bonus levels.
Emerald 8	Old Graveyard: The gem is hanging from a tree just after entering the Old Graveyard at the base of the Great Tree. Get the Gem by sucking it up. Can be obtained in B-3, B-5, and B-Bonus levels.
Emerald 9	Crow’s Nest: Dodge the attack of the enemy on the far right of the air corridor. If you pull the enemy while it is deflated, the Gem will appear from its mouth. Can be obtained in B-4 and B-Bonus levels.
Emerald 10	Rumpus Room: Rotate counterclockwise around the doll, which moves in sync with Luigi’s movements. The doll’s head will come off, revealing the Gem. Can be obtained in B-4 and B-Bonus levels.
Emerald 11	Solarium: Shine the Dark-Light Device on the table on the third floor to make a treasure chest appear. When lightning flashes, press X to open it and get the Gem. Can be obtained in B-4, B-5, and B-Bonus levels.
Emerald 12	Conservatory: Use the bubble fruit on the 4th floor to climb up to the right platform on the 5th floor. Then, make the Hidden Door appear by shining the Dark Light on the glowing spot and clear the challenge to get the Gem. Can only be obtained in B-4 level.
Emerald 13	West Bathroom: In the bathroom on the left side of the room, pull the toilet paper on the left side to reveal a Gem. Can be obtained in B-4, B-5, and B-Bonus levels.
