Multiplayer Features and Game Modes Guide for Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD (Dark Moon Remaster)
ScareScraper
Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD (Dark Moon Remaster) features a 4-person co-op multiplayer called ScareScraper. Below are all ScareScraper co-op formats in the game, including each mode’s objectives and brief descriptions on how to clear each.
Hunter Mode
Objective: Work together to defeat all the ghosts on each floor.
The Hunter game mode in ScareScraper requires your team to simply defeat all ghosts that appear on the floor. After all ghosts have been vanquished, the game mode will be cleared.
Rush Mode
Objective: Find the exit before you run out of time.
The Rush game mode requires your team to reach the floor exit within the time limit. The focus of this format is exploration rather than combat. Defeating ghosts and searching for objects will grant your team extra time.
Polterpup Mode
Objective: Use the Dark-Light Device to catch all the Polterpups within the time limit.
The Polterpup game mode requires your team to round up all Polterpups on the floor by using the Dark-Light Device. Note that the number of Polterpups on the floor will change.
Random ScareScraper Game Mode
Each time you clear a floor, any one of the three game modes will automatically be selected. Because of this, try to be familiar with the mechanics of each game mode as well as the characteristics of each floor.
