Secret Mine: D-1 Cold Case Walkthrough and Guide for Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD (Dark Moon Remaster)
Chalet Approach
| 1 | Remove the snow blocking the path. |

Hidden Coin Spot
Open the treasure chest near the entrance of Chalet Approach, then pull the snowman’s scarf and light the stove.
Gold Crow x2
Examine the tree hole.
Chalet
| 1 | Examine the teleportation device. |

| 2 | Proceed to the Smokehouse |
Hidden Coin Spot
Go down to B1 and use the Darklight to reveal a bridge on the right. Cross the bridge and enter the room at the back.
Gold Greenie
Pull the bear’s tail.
Smokehouse
| 1 | Examine the furnace. |
|---|---|
| 2 | Defeat the enemies. |
| 3 | Get the burning rocks and use them to melt the ice on the door. |
Sapphire #1
Pull the scarves hanging on the right wall and enter the secret door. Use the Darklight to make the sapphire appear.
Hidden Coin Spot
Melt the ice on the rope using some burning coals, then pull it.
Ice Lake
| 1 | Use the Darklight to reveal the door in the shed. |

| 2 | Proceed to the Fishing Hut. |
Gold Greenie x2
Put the snow towards the two Gold Greenies.
Fishing Hut
| 1 | Remove the snow on the ground. |
|---|---|
| 2 | Use the Darklight on the wall to find the painting. |
| 3 | Use the Darklight to save Toad. |
Sapphire #2
Point the vacuum downwards and use it at the hut on the left.
Under the Ice
| 1 | Blow away the Toad to send him onto the other side. |

| 2 | Head to the Terminal. |
Sapphire #3
Once the Toad is lifted up, move to the upper platform and into the well.
Gold Greenie
Pull the ropes in the area.
Terminal → Airway
| 1 | Proceed to the Airway. |
|---|---|
| 2 | Launch the Toad onto the lift. |
| 3 | Remove the snow to get the key. |
| 4 | Return to the Terminal |
| 5 | Use the key and enter the door. |
Sapphire #5
Use the binoculars to see the gem hidden inside a barrel.
Boo (Terminal)
After getting the key, use Darklight to see the barrel and remove the sheet from the wall.
Sapphire #4
Use the vacuum to find the gem hidden in a nest on the platform.
Gold Mouse
Take out the handle on the left and rotate it.
Prospector’s Crossing
| 1 | Launch the Toad onto the other side. |

| 2 | Launch the Toad onto the platform on the right. |
| 3 | Enter the Drift Hall. |
Hidden Coin Spot
Move to the other side and turn the handle on the right.
Gold Spider
Remove the sheet on the wall after moving to the other side.
Drift Hall
| 1 | Go to the right and get the key from the treasure chest. |

| 2 | Proceed to the Basin. |
Secret Door
Pull the ropes on both sides and light it using a torch.
Basin → Chalet
| 1 | Defeat the enemies. |
|---|---|
| 2 | Proceed to the Chalet. |
| 3 | Pull the rope on the left side of the bridge. |
| 4 | Pull the rope on the right side of the bridge. |
| 5 | Cross the bridge. |
| 6 | Get on the elevator. |
| 7 | Examine the teleportation device to complete the stage. |
Detonate the bomb in the mine.
Sapphire #5
Examine the barrel near the elevator.
Tips and Strategies to Get 3 Stars
Defeat all Gold Greenies.
Accumulate gold by defeating all the Gold Greenies on the stage. In addition, enter the Special Door to get more gold, which will allow you to achieve a 3-star clear much easier.
