Does Metaphor: ReFantazio Demo Progress Carry Over to the Full Game?

Progress in the Metaphor: ReFantazio playable demo which consists of the game’s prologue section carries over to the full title upon its release on October 10, 2024. This means that you can pick-up from where you left off in the trial version with all of your Archetypes, items, and experience (EXP) intact.
Things to Do in the Demo
Go through the various gameplay tutorials.
A good chunk of the Metaphor demo will introduce you to the game’s various systems such as exploration, combat, and the use of Archetypes.
You can choose to spend some time getting the hang of Metaphor’s different mechanics in the trial version for a much smoother time in later parts of the main story when the game comes out.
Level up characters and Archetypes.
It is also a good idea to earn some EXP in the demo by farming enemies in battle, allowing your party of Followers and their Archetypes to level up. This lets you take on tougher foes and make it easier to progress through the game.
Farm items and money.
You can also farm enemies in the game to amass a decent amount of useful items and money.
As with various Shin Megami Tensei and Persona games, Metaphor is expected to feature numerous challenging story battles which will often require you to resort to using items or purchasing better equipment to clear them.
