Call of Duty: World War II Is a Return to Roots Entry

During the Sony press conference at E3 2017, the developers revealed a new multiplayer trailer for Call of Duty: World War II. Sledgehammer Games promised to include more of the iconic war locations, as well as the vehicles and weaponry. We can also expect greater involvement from other countries outside of just the US and the UK.

Coming off from the mixed reception on Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, the developers eagerly return to a more basic gameplay while still introducing some new innovations.

One new feature is the Headquarters, which will be a hub for players on multiplayer to interact with other people, compete, and claim rewards, among other things.

There’s also an added multiplayer mode called War Mode. Players will be able to choose from five different divisions to be part of, each with different specialties. Games will also have various custom objectives for more diverse team play.

Finally, they also confirmed that there will be a Zombie Mode. Developers promised it to be more realistic and visceral, with Nazi zombies as they have not been seen before.
