How to Play Split-Screen Multiplayer in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga supports local split-screen multiplayer which can be accessed at any time during a mission. Below are the steps to play split-screen couch co-op on the Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows (PC).
Steps to Enable and Disable Split-Screen Co-op (Local Multiplayer)
1 | During a mission, plug a second controller on the console, device, or PC. |
---|---|
2 | Press any button on the second controller to take control of the second character in the party. The screen will also enter split-mode to accommodate two players. |
3 | To end co-op, pause the game and select Drop Out. |
You Can Only Play as Characters Featured in Each Episode
Note that both players engaged in split-screen co-op can only use characters featured in the specific episode they are in. Because of this, it is not possible for the second player (or even the first) to pick a different character during multiplayer.
Is There Online Multiplayer in the Game?
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga does not currently have any online multiplayer modes. This feature may be added in a future update to accommodate co-op sessions with other players from around the world.
