Fast Battle Guide for Metaphor: ReFantazio
Below is a guide about Fast Battle in Metaphor: ReFantazio, including an overview of the battle system, how to use it in the game, and other useful information.
Fast Battle Overview
Fast Battle is ideal for taking down low-level monsters, offering players the chance to engage in real-time, fast-paced combat. This mode significantly reduces the time spent in battle compared to Squad Battle. In Fast Battle, the protagonist has the ability to lock onto targets, dash, and dodge attacks.
Fast Battle Tips
Use Fae Sight to determine a monster’s strength or level.
Gallica’s Fae Sight allows you to determine the strength of monsters in the field. It is recommended to use Fae Sight first before approaching monsters in order to determine whether to engage in a Fast Battle or Squad Battle. If the monster’s danger level is low, you can use Fast Battle to defeat it quickly.
Equip Archetypes that are suited for Fast Battle.
Archetypes play a significant role in Fast Battle. Those with a swift or fast fighting style are particularly well-suited for this mode. Thus, it is advisable to equip Archetypes that suit the fast-paced nature of Fast Battle, as this will enable you to navigate the battle system with greater ease.
Low-level enemies’ attacks will not force you to a Squad Battle.
When struck by a low-level enemy, the protagonist will take some damage but will not force a Squad Battle. So, if you are facing multiple low-level enemies, you don’t have to worry about being forced into a Squad Battle, but still be careful as you will still take damage.
