Plesioth Walkthrough

Introduction

Revival monster from MH3 series.
There was a battle in the water by MH3G, but it’s only a battle on the ground because there is not battle in the water by MHX. Therefore it is power up action on the ground. It lives in water usually, it jump out into the ground if it discovers the hunter. Be carefull Water breath from underwater and tackle of the big hit judgement on the ground. You may fight it at Urgent Quest for you will become HR5. But you need preparations such as power up of armor because it has high offencive power for High-rank monster. If it does not find the hunter in water, you can　fish Plesioth by using frog at fishing point. However because you are found it during fishing, you fish can it dificult when you must not use Smoke Bomb which becomes hard to be found. In addition,　althought it will jump out on the ground with surprise if you hit Sonic bomb when it swim in the underwater, it does not jump up necessarilly certainly immediately. Therefore you don’t need to will have Sonic Bomb.

Walkthrough point

• Weakest to Thunder and Fire attributed attack.
• You can get Breakable Part Items when you breake by one of destruction of both wings.
• Be careful tackle on the ground because its hit judgement is very long and its tackle will deal high damage.
• Be careful bite because you will be affected poison when you hit its bite.
• Health keep a Max because its attack deal high damage.

Plesioth attack pattern

Attack pattern	More info
Water Breath (underwater)	Shows its nose from underwater, breath out Water attributed.
Tackle	Takes back its body on the ground, and tackle. Dangerous attack because hit judgement is very long and its tackle will deal high damage. If you can use weapon which you can guard, it’s better to guard you.
Spin Tail	Spins its tail. If you stay under its body you don’t hit its attack. Although I\it doesn’t have a long range, be careful as it will keep the distance.
Crawl	Crawls the ground. Attack when it jump out into the ground. It is same in case of the ground too.
Water Straight Breath (ground)	Bends over the ground, blows out a　Water attributed breath　in straight front. If you can evad by go around to side you make a counter chance because of chance is longer.
Bite	Bites ahead. Be added Sleep effect to bite by MHX
Water Breath Swipe	Stand up on the ground, blows out a Water attributed breath like swiping.
