Persona 4 Golden (P4G) Differences from Previous P4 Games
Below are all major differences in Persona 4 Golden (P4G) from previous Persona 4 (P4) titles released.
Improved Graphics
Persona 4 Golden has been updated with higher resolution graphics compared to the standard version. You can enjoy the enhanced port with better visuals and smoother gameplay.
Album feature added to the protagonist’s room.
The game also adds an album feature which can be accessed in the protagonist’s room that lets you look back on your memories throughout your playthrough. With this function, you can replay any of your favorite Social Link events from specific ranks to try other dialogue options and actions you missed in your run.
Difficulty select unlocked at the start of the game.
In the standard version of Persona 4, you can only choose the difficulty during your second playthrough (New Game +). This has been changed in Persona 4 Golden as you are able to set the game difficulty immediately at the start of the game. Difficulty does not affect the main story so even first-time players or those who just want to go through the game at a fast pace can begin their playthrough on recommended settings such as “Very Easy” or “Easy” mode.
Save your game anytime.
Persona 4 Golden also lets you save anytime during play and not just at save points.
