Pokemon GO massively consumes battery. But you can reduce the battery it consumes by enabling battery saver from the settings menu. Use this to play Pokemon GO longer and more efficiently.
Battery Saver: How it Works
Since you have to constantly turn on your smartphone in order to play Pokomon GO, it consumes a massive amount of battery and items like a portable charger is a must. But by enabling Battery Charger you can restrict the battery it consumes.
Open main menu and tap settings.
Check battery saver to enable it. Once it’s enabled, the screen will black out when the smartphone isn’t facing up. Since the phone is still turned on, the game will restart once the phone faces upwards.
