You can get candies by transferring your Pokemons you don’t need any more to Professor. It’s best to transfer your Pokemons to Professor Willow frequently, since candies can be used to power up and evolve your Pokemon.
Obtain Candies Transferring to Professor
The number of your Pokemon increases as long as you keep on catching Pokemon. You need to discard your Pokemon because a limitation is set! The solution is transferring Pokemons to Professor Willow!
To transfer a Pokemon, open the Pokemon’s status menu, then tap the circle surrounding three vertical lines in the bottom-right corner.
You will see a sign stating “transfer”.
Once you transfer your Pokemon you will not be able to recover it.
Be careful not to transfer your precious Pokemon!
After you transfer a Pokemon, you will receive a candy from professor Willow. In order to power up and evolve a Pokemon, you will have to consume candies. Collect as many candy as possible to make your Pokemon stronger.
You can bookmark your favorite Pokemon. But since this is just a bookmark for searching through Pokemons, you can still transfer a bookmarked Pokemon. Be careful not to miss your precious Pokemon!
