Red Dead Redemption Release Date Troubles

releaseTie your horse to a hitching rail, pardner, cuz our newest wild west excitement’s gonna be delayed for a few fortnights.

Rockstar Games, publisher of blockbuster titles like the Grand Theft Auto series, ManhuntBully (Canis Canem Edit), and the original Red Dead Redemption, said that Redemption 2 will be the first Rockstar game “created from the ground up for the latest generation of console hardware…”  and that because of this, “some extra time is necessary to ensure that we can deliver the best experience possible for our fans.”

From the original set time of Q4 2017, Redemption 2 is set to be released in Spring of 2018. Rockstar apologizes for the disappointment caused by this delay. Rockstar further explains that “…we are firm believers in delivering a game only when it is ready.” To appease fans, Rockstar released a plethora of screenshots that can be found here.
