How to Check Event Rank (ER) in Romancing Saga: Minstrel Song Remastered
What is Event Rank (ER)?
Event Rank (ER) in Romancing Saga: Minstrel Song Remaster (RomaSaga: MS Remake) is a mechanic that indicates your progress in the game. Your ER determines which quests are available to you during the main story.
To raise your ER, you must earn Rank Points (RP) through battles. Note that it is possible to overlevel your ER which may cause you to be locked out of certain quests, their rewards, and more new quests (chain quests) if you exceed their ER range. Because of this, it is not recommended to grind battles as you go through the main story.
How to Check ER
To check your current ER in the game, talk to the boy from the Volunteer Brigade found in various towns. Doing so will open up a list of tutorials. The newest tutorial available when you talk to the kid will give you a hint what your ER is.
As an example, if the newest tutorial is “School me in techniques and spells”, that means your ER is 4. Below is a list of all tutorial topics to help you determine your current ER.

Note: Reaching ER 6, 21, and 22 will not add a new tutorial from the kid. You can only know if you have reached this ER through the availability of certain quests.
Check your menu screen, theres now a little clock on the lower left that displays your Event Rank, no more guessing! I’m impressed with this remaster, they added in a whole lot of little things that they never even mentioned!
