The Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta release ending is scheduled in a few hours. The week long open beta gave casual gamers and fans a chance to try the new battlefront in-game content.
Prior the beta release ending, players that pre-order received open beta access last October 4 while the public open beta was made available two days later on October 6. The PC beta weighs at around 22GB while the PS4 and Xbox One beta is just over 15GB and 13.2 GB respectively. Pre-order bonuses are given as well such as additional skins and ability upgrades.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 introduces new multiplayer battlegrounds- Galactic Assault, Starfighter Assault, & Strike and Arcade. In Galactic Assault, players can choose between defending Naboo as a Clone trooper, or join the Separatist ranks as a battle droid and siege the royal palace. As for Starfighter Assault, race among Rebel Alliance starfighters to destroy a Star Destroyer or rally around with the Galactic Empire fighters to defend instead. Lastly, the Strike and Arcade stage provides team battles of eight players where you can join a team of First Order troopers or Resistance fighters.
The beta release ending made players craving for beta time since they were mesmerized from the game experience and clamors more extended beta time. However, EA seems to suggest that it is highly unlikely. Instead, they offer beta players carry-on rewards during the Star Wars Battlefront 2 release date on November 17, 2017. It includes a “Founder Crate” filled with game goodies from developers. The crate contains in-game credits, exclusive emotes for heroes particularly Darth Maul, and a rare trooper Star Card giving them a head start in battle.

When its comes to play testing experience, Heather Alexandra of Kotaku writes:
The production quality is superb. I’d estimate that Battlefront 2 costs one trillion dollars to make and most of that was dropped on the visuals. Marble floors gleam with polish, lightsabers clash with gorgeous particle effects, and blasters roar. The look combines well with Battlefront II’s slightly faster gameplay. Starfighters turn with more precision, and it’s easy to sprint around the battlefield to perform exciting flanking maneuvers.
