Star Wars Battlefront 2, the sequel to EA DICE’s reboot of the epic space opera video game based on the acclaimed movie franchise and its expanded works, will be one of the highlights during the company’s E3 2017 (Electronic Entertainment Expo 2017) appearance.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 to Be Focus at EA’s E3 2017 Show
Star Wars Battlefront 2 is the much-awaited action shooter follow-up to Battlefront released in 2015. The game was known for employing both first- and third-person combat, similar to franchises like Fallout and The Elder Scrolls. The game is set to feature characters appearing in more recent works in the legendarium, specifically Episode VII: The Force Awakens until Episode VIII: The Last Jedi.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 will be one of the products to be covered during EA’s Live @ EA Play event on June 10, 2017 which will kick off the series of press conferences scheduled for E3 2017’s festivities. The game will be shown alongside mostly sports titles such as Madden NFL 18, FIFA 18, NBA Live 18 and the new Need for Speed game.

Among the most awaited features of the game is multiplayer mode, where it was promoted that players pre-ordering the game will receive The Last Jedi exclusive themed looks and ability upgrades. This allows players to either play as Rey or Kylo Ren, each with their unique sets of abilities and mechanics.
Star Wars Battlefront 2‘s story will revolve around the Empire, not the Jedi Order or the Rebellion. The events take place after the destruction of the Death Star, as witnessed by protagonist Iden Versio, a TIE fighter pilot and member of the Empire’s Inferno Squad.
