Assassin’s Creed Origins Install Size Revealed!
With the hype coming out for the newly reworked Assassin’s Creed Origins, Ubisoft has let out some information for the install size for the game. Considering it’s a big game with newly reworked designs, better renders, and new mechanics, players who are waiting for this game better prepare their consoles for a large incoming file. With the install size hitting around 42.3 GB, players may need to set up good internet to get the Assassin’s Creed Origins.
Will it matter if I pre-order the game?
Pre-ordering the game may allow you to download some files so that the game will be ready to release day. Usually, games like these always have a day before patch which contains some last minute bug fixes, patches, and maybe some Assassins Creed Origins pre order rewards. Assuming, that one did pre order the game.
What’s better? Buying the hard copy or downloading digitally?
Downloading it digitally would mean that the game may take up some space. However, in doing so, players may either have to clear out some of the old games in order to play it. But the installation will be a tad bit easier. As the game downloads, it’s already configuring the settings that the game needs to function. However, if you want another game that’s not available in your country, you may have to delete some of the big games and Assassins Creed Origins may be the first victim.
However, having the hard copy will mean that your file space on your Xbox, PC, or PS4 won’t take too much damage. Players can also easily plug and play without having to sift through the menu of the PS4. Considering that Assassins Creed Origins does have a big install size, maybe buying the hard copy is better so one has space for more games. However, players might not be able to record the gameplay due to a specific coding Ubisoft put. They can attempt to do so but may need a capture card to do so.
