Julius Caesar of Assassins Creed is a character that appeared in Assassins Creed Origins. He became the ruler of Rome and the lover of Cleopatra.

Character Profile: Julius Caesar of Assassins Creed

Julius Caesar of Assassins Creed lived as a prominent military general in the Roman Empire. Soon, he rose through the ranks and became a Roman Politician. He is responsible for the finding the city of Florentia, soon becoming the city of Florence. Julius Caesar of Assassins Creed soon also had a relationship with Assassin’s Creed Cleopatra. With the aid of the Order of the Ancients and his army, he reinstalled Cleopatra as the pharoah of Egypt. He is also responsible for creating the Roman Empire.

Story

At around 59 BCE, Julius Caesar founded the city of Florentia which soon become the city of Florence. He also became one of the reasons why the Gallic War turned in the favour of the Romans. After defeating Chief Vercingetorix, he annexed Gaul to Rome and made it an unstoppable empire.

However, his true rise to power occurred in 49 BCE. With the help of the Templars, Julius Caesar of Assassins Creed brought his army and ransacked the city of Rome. While at it, he also seized power and became the dictator of the city of Rome. He did all this while being secretly supported by the Templars or back then, the Order of the Ancients. After taking Rome for himself, he soon gained an ally and lover in Cleopatra. Hearing her plea and realizing having Ptolemy XIII in power was troublesome, Julius Caesar sent his men to aid her. Bayek of Siwa and Aya also joined the effort with his efforts being successful. With Cleopatra installed as pharaoh, the two ruled both Egypt and the Roman Empire under the watchful eye of the Order of the Ancient. Or better known as Assassins Creeds Origins Templars.

However, his tyranny soon reached a tipping point. A group of 40 senators who secretly were part of the Brotherhood conspired to take down Julius Caesar of Assassins Creed. With the help of Brutus and Cassius Longinus, they stabbed the dictator 23 times during the Idles of March.

  • During his time as a general, Julius Caesar proved to be charismatic and a wise general. Leading his armies, he then killed majority of the resisting forces before annexing the city of Gaul to him.
  • One of his key skills is his ability to persuade people. As an eloquent speaker, Julius Caesar of Assassins Creed gained the support of many people without having much issues.
    • This is seen through despite Brutus and Cassius freeing the people of Rome from his tyranny, they still turned against them.
    • However, Marc Anthony may also be a factor who is also an excellent speaker in his own right.
  • As a politician, he exemplified being crafty and wily – able to seize the power of Rome’s empire under the ruler’s nose.
