Retribution DLC, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare

Upcoming on September 12, 2017, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare now releases Retribution DLC as one of the four they’ve released. After the release of Sabotage, Continuum, and Absolution, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare now reveals Retribution DLC. Retribution DLC has a new co-op scenario and multi-player battlefields where players get to experience new mechanics and new features. In this DLC, Lee Ross, Associate Project Director for Call of Duty, also reveals the new and final chapter in Retribution DLC – The Beast from Beyond.

The Beast from Beyond

The Beast from Beyond features enigmatic horror movie director, William Wyler. He comes up with a new plan to trap all four protagonists on the island. As they remain on the island, William Wyler resurrects majority of his crazy pets and angry creatures. Pretty soon, the island is crawling with Cryptids and the players must shoot their way out of it before getting devoured.

Lee Ross intends to merge the universe of Extinction and zombies into one crazy universe. Along with these, he intends to add a more sci-fi feel to the world of CoD: Infinite Warfare. He also plans to finally reveal William’s motives.

Multiplayer Maps?

With the new DLC, CoD: Infinite Warfare intends to reveal also four new maps for players to check out.

Depot 22 – Depot 22 is a three lane map where players must either go mid-ranged combat or close quarters. This kind of map is perfect for deathmatches as it leaves no room for players to snipe just like that.

Altitude – For Altitude, players must quickly flank their enemies. In a sky-high mall terrain, there are lush sceneries and waterfalls which players can enjoy for a quick tour.

Heartland – As tribute to Call of Duty: Ghost’s map Warhawk, players fight in a small American town. Players can have a bit of an ice cream as a means for a break. However, players can also soon take out enemies with a Black Hole Generator!?

Carnage – As a post-apocalyptic race track, players must find other players before they get to the checkpoint. Oh yeah, did we forget that you can roast your enemies alive in this map? That’s because you can! You can trigger certain traps which immediately roast your enemies on activation.
