Baramos’ Lair Walkthrough
1 | Fly to Baramos’ Lair just north of Necrogond Shrine. ➥ Before heading to the area, you can exchange Mini Medals you have collected for better gear and items. |
---|---|
2 | When you arrive at Baramos’ Lair, proceed towards the deepest area. Use Zoom instead of Evac if you need to leave the castle. |
3 | Upon reaching the deepest level of Baramos’ Lair, prepare to battle Baramos. |
You can also farm levels at Baramos’ Lair.
Baramos’ Lair is home to Metal Slimes that you can farm to earn massive amounts of EXP. If you need to gain a few levels before the battle against Baramos (and even during the post-game), you can do so now.
Note Baramos’ attack patterns.
The key to beating Baramos is to be aware his attack patterns. He can act twice in a row and can heal himself for 100 HP each turn. Despite this, he has quite a predictable sequence of actions which you can exploit to your advantage.
Defeat Baramos using only the Hero to get the Bastard Sword.
The King of Aliahan rewards you with the Bastard Sword if you manage to take down Baramos using only the Hero. This is one of the game’s extra challenges which you can try clearing with enough skill and preparation.
After Beating Baramos
1 | After beating Baramos, head to Aliahan for an event. ➥ If you defeated Baramos with only the Hero, the King will reward you with the Bastard Sword. |
---|---|
2 | Head to Portoga and talk to the cursed woman to find that the curse has been lifted. You will also get the Siren Sword, a weapon exclusive to female characters. |
3 | If the Hero is a female, head to Pirates’s Den and talk to The Captain. ➥ If you tell her that you want to live a life like hers, your Personality changes to Amazon. ➥ If you tell her that you’ll rely on your good looks instead, your Personality changes to Vamp. |
If your Hero is female, aim for the Vamp Pesonality.
After the battle with Baramos, you can trigger a special event at the Pirates’ Den if your Hero character is female. From here, it is recommended to tell the Captain that you want to rely on your good looks to change your Hero’s Personality into Vamp (the best Personality for female characters).
