Portoga Walkthrough
| 1 | Once you pass through the gate to the southwest, you will reach Portoga. |

| 2 | Feel free to explore the town for new equipment, side quests, and information on your next objective. |
| 3 | Talk to the King at Portoga Castle to begin the quest to retrieve the Black Pepper. You will also get Royal Missive afterwards. |
| 4 | You can use Zoom to fast travel to Asham. Once you are there, begin gathering more information or start looking for the Black Pepper for the King. Don’t forget to restock on items or buy new equipment if you need to by stopping by at the shops. |
| 5 | Head to Nordy’s Grotto by going east to Asham. |
Pick up items in Portoga Castle.
Head to Portoga Lighthouse to get the valuable Staff of Antimagic which seals enemy spells.
Buy the Spiked Steel Whip in Portoga equipment shop.
The Spiked Steel Whip can damage multiple enemies in one strike, making it a useful weapon for clearing battle more efficiently.
Nordy’s Grotto Walkthrough
| 1 | After entering Nordy’s Grotto, head right and go up. |

| 2 | Talk to Nordy and show him the Royal Missive. Nordy will then guide you through a shortcut so follow the path to exit the cave. |
| 3 | Head southeast from Nordy’s Grotto to reach Baharata. |
Get the Seed of Life from the well.
On the floor where Nordy’s room is, there is a well that contains a Seed of Life.
Baharata Walkthrough
| 1 | After arriving in Baharata, gather information and explore the area. |

| 2 | Talk to the old man in the southern part of town to obtain information about the Kidnappers. |
| 3 | Head northeast of Baharata to reach Kidnapper’s Cave |
Talk to the old man before going to Kidnapper’s Cave.
If you try to head directly to Kidnapper’s Cave without talking to the old man, you’ll be turned away. Make sure to speak with the old man first before heading to the next dungeon.
Buy the Magic Shield at the Baharata weapon shop.
The Magic Shield increases your defense and reduces incoming magic damage by 3/4, making it useful in upcoming battles. Be sure to buy it at the Baharata weapon shop before going to Kidnapper’s Cave.
