Get the Words of Wisdom in Tower of Transcendence.
The Words of Wisdom, a key item that unlocks the Sage job, can be found in the Tower of Transcendence.
Farm Metal Slimes to level up fast.
Metal Slimes can be found on the upper floors of the tower. Use Poison Needle or Coagulant to farm them, allowing you to gain levels quickly thanks to the massive amount of EXP they reward upon defeat.
Theddon Walkthrough
| 1 | From Portoga, use the Ship and sail south along the coast to Wayfarer’s Shrine. ➥ Explore the area to get information on Theddon. |

| 2 | Head a little ways south from the shrine to find a river on the right side. Follow the river south to reach Theddon. |
| 3 | Explore the town during nighttime as there will be no residents during the day. ➥ Gather information on Lanson, Necrogond, and the Ultimate Key. |
The Theddon townsfolk only appear at night.
Theddon is a town where the villagers only appear at night. If you explore the town during the day, there won’t be any people to talk to.
You can change the time of day to night using the Night Light.
You can get the Night Light inside the weapon shop to the southwest of Theddon. Upon entering the shop, go to the 2nd floor to find a chest containing the item.
How to Get the Orb from the Prisoner in the Cell
When you check the cell in the northern part during the day, you’ll see a message stating that the prisoner wanted to pass down the Orb to someone. At night, however, the cell will be guarded, preventing you from getting the Orb at all.
Return here when you get the Ultimate Key to receive the Orb from the prisoner and fulfill their wishes.
