The Journey Walkthrough: The Season Begins

After training, Alex’s team travels to their first official Premier League game. However, things don’t always turn out in his favor as his mate Gareth begin to see him as a rival in their intertwined fates as future professional footballers.

First Season Game

  • Note that if you chose any of the top six Premier Clubs (ArsenalChelseaSpursLiverpoolManchester United and Manchester City), you will always spend the majority of your games as a benched player (you won’t be in the first roster during the first game). If you joined any of the other clubs, you’ll have more playing time but more challenging games.
  • Gareth will be called to the bench (but not without having scored a goal for the team), which will allow you get into a real game. For each match, you will need to fulfill three objectives. You will be rated in each of these objectives, so it is important that you meet them well. It will vary from performing at least two assists to actually scoring a goal. If you chose to be a Center Attacking Midfielder (CAM), you will have more opportunities to complete most of the objectives since you will likely have more time possessing the ball.
  • It is also good to remember that completing objectives will get you closer to making the first team in your succeeding games, which of course means more time spent on the field.
  • The story eventually leads up to Gareth and you cementing your rivalry with each other. However, things will be on Gareth’s side as he joins Harry Kane on Transfer Deadline Day. You are eventually put on Loan, which means that you’ll have to play for one of three Championship clubs.
  • It does not matter how well you do in games or how you interact with the people around you – your getting put on loan is part of the story. This means that you’ll need to work your way back to the League. Keep in mind that as early as now, you should be focusing on training Alex and improving his stats for more challenging matchups later on.
