Her basic attacks against the trapped enemy deal bonus magic damage equal to 5/10/15 plus 4/6/8% of their current health. The Hextech Ultimatum ends if Camille leaves the area.

Strategy

  • The best time to poke and harass enemies is when Camille’s passive Adaptive Defenses is up. Take note that the shield is based on who you attack, meaning that if you attack an AD champion, you will get a shield that is more effective against AD champions.
  • while (Q) Precision Protocol is an auto-attack reset, it is also a good 1v1 engage since it deals true damage in the second activation of the skill.
  • (W) Tactical Sweep is a good skill since you can move while casting it. Try to hit an enemy in the outer so that it can heal you and apply slow to the enemy champion.
  • (E) Hookshot is what makes Camille a very mobile champion because this skill can be considered as one of the best engage and disengage in the game. It can also be used an escape tool.
  • However, always remember that you must cast it first on a wall before you can cast it anywhere on the second activation of the skill.
  • You can dodge some skills if you time you time your (R) Hextech Ultimatum since there will be a brief moment wherein you will be untargetable.

Ravenous Hydra Trinity Force Ninja Tabi/Mercury’s Treads

Ravenous Hydra – Ravenous Hydra gives Camille a decent waveclear and farming power. The item also gives you great sustain and damage which benefits Precision Protocol.

Trinity Force – Trinity Force is a very strong item for Camille especially when stacked with Sterak’s Gage. The spellblade passive is a wonder for the second proc of her Precision Protocol because of the added AD and true damage. Furthermore, stats-wise, Trinity Force gives Camille good coverage of bonus Attack Damage, Attack Speed and Mana.

Spirit Visage – Spirit Visage increases the effectiveness of Ravenous Hydra since it amplifies all health regeneration and lifesteal, increasing its effectiveness.

Sterak’s Gage – This item, along with Trinity Force, increases attack damage and offensive stats. Sterak’s Gage also improves your survivability with its passive that grants you increased damage, size, and a decaying shield when you reach critical health.

Dead Man’s Plate – Dead Man’s Plate increases your mobility while increasing your health and regeneration as well.

Guardian Angel Randuin’s Omen Titanic Hydra
 Gargoyle Stoneplate Icom
Gargoyle Stoneplate

Randuin’s Omen – Randuin’s Omen is a great item on Camille if you want to be tankier and more team-focused. This item is better if the enemy has a lot of mobility since you can catch them with the slow active.

Titanic Hydra – Titanic Hydra is the tankier version of Ravenous Hydra which gives you more health and health regeneration at the expense of damage and lifesteal. Get this item if you want to focus more initiating a team fight and being a front line of the team

Gargoyle Stoneplate – Gargoyle Stoneplate is a good item if paired with other defensive items. This item is good if you want to build Camille as semi-tank initiator.

Bloodrazor Enchantment – Bloodrazor is also a good alternative for Camille if you want to increase her DPS in team fights. This item sacrifices the the damage and cooldown reduction of Warrior for attack speed.

Playing Against

  • It’s best to engage Camille when her shield from Adaptive Defenses is on cooldown.
  • Flashing and other escapes won’t work against Camille’s (R) Hextech Ultimatum. It’s either you fight back or disable her during the ultimate. However, the ultimate will abruptly end if you somehow manage to remove Camille inside the area,  so heroes like Poppy are super effective against her.
  • Camille is a very mobile champion that can jump in team fights immediately, but she is very squishy so focus her down when she enters a team fight.
  • Avoid the outer layer of her (W) Tactical Sweep since she can apply a slow on you and regenerate a ton of health if she manages to land it.
  • Be careful when you have low health even if you are in the tower because Camille can burst you down with her skills.

Hard Counters

  • Illaoi – Illaoi can use Leap of Faith when Camille activates The Hextech Ultimatum, forcing Camille to get out of the area of the ultimate. Furthermore, Illaoi can also use Test of Spirit and catch Camille even if she uses (E) Hookshot away from her.
  • Fiora – Fiora is good at extended team fights because of Duelist’s Dance that can heal and deal true damage. Grand Challenge also make Camille’s Grand Challenge difficult to pull off because Fiora can just hit all four vitals of the enemy, healing her and her team mates greatly.
  • Poppy – Poppy can cast Keeper’s Verdict to cancel the effect of The Hextech Ultimatum.
