	Ionian Fervor (Effect Radius: 1000) – INNATE: The character reduces the duration of disables on herself based on whether she is Outnumbered by nearby champions. If she’s in an even fight, she’ll reduce disables by a small amount, if she’s outnumbered, she’ll reduce disables by a larger amount.
	Bladesurge (Targt Range: 650 Cost: 50/55/60/65/70 Mana, Cooldown: 14/12/10/8/6) – ACTIVE: The character dashes forward to strike her target. If it kills the target, Bladesurge’s cooldown refreshes and refunds a portion of the Mana Cost.- Irelia dashes forward to strike her target, dealing 20/50/80/110/140 (+0) physical damage and applying on-hit effects.If it kills the target, Bladesurge’s cooldown is refreshed and Irelia gains 35 Mana.
	Hiten Style (Cost: 40 Mana, Cooldown: 15) This character is skilled in the art of Hiten, passively giving her physical attacks Health restoration. Activating Hiten Style doubles her Health restoration and gives her basic attacks true damage.- PASSIVE: Basic attacks restore 5/7/9/11/13 Health. ACTIVE: Irelia’s basic attacks deal 15/30/45/60/75 true damage and Hiten Style restores twice as much health for 6 seconds.
	Equilibrium Strike (Target Range: 325, Cost: 50/55/60/65/60 Mana, Cooldown: 8) – The character’s attack balances the scales, dealing damage and slowing the target. However, if the target has a higher Health % than Irelia, then the blow stuns the target instead of slowing. Irelia pierces her target, dealing 80/120/160/200/240 (+50% Ability Power) magic damage and slowing them by 60% for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 second(s).If the target has a higher Health % than Irelia, she stuns them for the duration instead.
	Transcendent Blades (Target Range: 1000, Cost: 100 Mana, Cooldown: 110/85/60)  – ACTIVE: Irelia summons 4 spirit blades that she can fling to deal physical damage and siphon life from enemies they pass through. Irelia summons 4 spirit blades that she can fling to deal 80/120/160 (+70% bonus Attack Damage) (+50% Ability Power) physical damage to enemies they pass through. She heals for 25% of the damage dealt against champions. (10% vs. minions and monsters)

Strategy

• It’s best to harass enemies by casting (Q) Bladesurge on a dying minion before going in to another champion. This will give you more advantage as it will be harder for him to retaliate.
• (R) Transcendent Blades is also a good disengage-reset skill because it can siphon life from the enemies while you are backing away, therefore giving you more health and a chance to return in the team fight.
• It’s sometimes an advantage when the enemy has more health than you because you can stun them with (E) Equilibrium Strike, giving you a chance to fight back with her array of skills.
• You can also farm using (Q) Bladesurge since it will refresh its cooldown when you kill an enemy with it. Aside from that, it returns 35 mana.

Trinity Force – Rush this item as soon as possible, as it is one of the best items for an Irelia. The Sheen proc on this item makes you a threat in the laning phase. The item also gives a lot of stats that greatly benefits Irelia’s kit.

Blade of the Ruined King – Blade of the Ruined King allows you to catch your enemies quicker and deal more damage to them. This item also increases you dueling potential because of the lifesteal. A must item for Irelia.

Ninja Tabi – Irelia already has a reasonable crowd control reduction with her passive and she doesn’t need more movement speed because she has a lot of gap closers and crowd controls. The remaining item that she needs are armor and defensive stats, and this is what Ninja Tabi brings to the table.

Sterak’s Gage – Sterak’s Gage grants you more health and increases your base attack damage. The best thing about this item for Irelia is the passive which gives Irelia a shield and more attack damage when her health reaches critical. This item makes increases Irelia’s impact in team fights since she will have more survivability when initiating.

Maw of Malmoritus – This item is perfect for Irelia since she is somewhat very squishy when caught by hard crowd controls. This item increases your damage while giving you a shield that absorbs magic damage.

Randuin’s Omen – Randuin’s Omen increases your health and armor while giving you an active that can slow the movement speed of enemies around you. This item syncs perfectly well when you enter a team fight with (Q) Bladesurge. It can also set up a good team fight to catch your enemies with (R) Transcendent Blades.

Frozen Heart	Guardian Angel

Youmuu’s Ghostblade – Youmuu’s Ghostblade gives you lethality and a ton of movement speed buffs. This item makes you very mobile in ganking other lanes and catching escaping enemies.

The Black Cleaver – The extra health, attack damage, and cooldown reduction are always a welcome addition for Irelia. The passive also makes her very sticky and not allowing enemy carries kite you in 1v1 situations.

Thornmail – Thornmail increases Irelia’s armor and returns some basic attack damage. This item is a good addition for Irelia if you want to be a frontliner or if the enemy team has a lot of ADs.

Frozen Heart – Frozen heart is another recommended addition for Irelia if your enemy has a lot of ADs that relies on attack speed. This item is also a must if the enemy ADC is fed and you need to lessen his impact in the game.

Guardian Angel – This item gives you attack damage and can ressurect you in fights. Get this item in the late game if you think that the extra life is really important. Get this item if you think that the game is ending soon and one wrong decision can cost the entire game.

Playing Against

• It’s sometimes better not to engage Irelia when she has less health than you because she can stun you (E) Equlibrium Strike. 
• Irelia players usually doesn’t cast their (Q) Bladesurge directly on a champion, but on a dying minion where they will recast it again on you. Try positioning yourself away from dying minions and anticipate when Irelia will strike.
• Irelia is weaker in situations where there are less enemies near her. With this in mind, it’s best to pick a champion against her than can outtrade and outsustain her in the laning phase.
• Apply crowd control on her when he activates (W) Hiten Style, as she can deal true damage.
• Never towerdive an Irelia because chances are she will just stun you with (E) Equilibrium Strike. 

Hard Counters

• Olaf – Olaf can catch an escaping Irelia with Undertow, aside from harassing her that skill. He also has the ability to negate the stun or slow of Equilibrium Strike because of his ultimate. Irelia also loses in extended fights because Olaf gets stronger the less health he has because of Vicious Strikes and Berserker’s Rage. 
• Garen – Irelia pretty much can’t do anything when Garen hits you with the Decisive Strike + Judgement combo. Irelia also needs to stay alive for long to maximize the heal of Hiten Style, but garen won’t let her because he can just cast Demacian Justice to kill Irelia at half health.
• Nasus – Nasus is very strong at extended fights because he can cast Spirit Fire to deal damage and shred armor in a large Area of effect. He also has the ability to decrease your attack and movement speed with Wither, wasting your auto-attack abilities and true damage from Hiten Style.
