Learn to Ask Politely if Your Chosen Champion is Taken
There are many times when your favorite Champion (and usually the one you’re most familiar with) has already been chosen by another member of your team. While it is uncertain who between the two of you is the most competent in using that Champion, it is always better to ask first. Simply ask your teammate in a nice manner (“Hi! Is it okay if I use that Champion instead?”). Keep it mind that they may not always reply in a similarly gentle tone, but do not respond with rudeness.
Being A Well-Rounded Player is Important
This is related to the first point. While you will not always get to play as the Champion you are most skilled as, you should be able to choose another one that you feel is decent enough to play your part in the team. This also helps you to choose which Champion has the best synergy with any of your teammates. Keep it mind that it is always a give-and-take situation when choosing a Champion during matches. You may not always be in the role for heroics and kills, but victory is ultimately the goal of every match.
