What are Status Effects?
Status effects are conditions in Persona 5 Tactica (P5T) that impact a character or an enemy during turn-based combat. They have a variety of bad or positive effects on their actions, attributes, or skills.

List of Status Ailments
Below is a list of status effects and status ailments, including information on what they do in and out of battle, and how to remove them.

What are the Status Effects mechanics?
Status effects are temporary and only last a few turns.
Status Effects, in general last either one or two turns in battle and are cured at the start of the user’s third turn at the latest. They may be healed using recovery skills or consumable items.
Status inflicted units and foes will be healed the minute they are hit.
Status effects are automatically removed from the afflicted user if they survive an enemy attacked or an insta-kill. The same applies for enemies.
After a mission stage is completed, all status effects are removed.
All status effects and mental ailments are automatically cured after the mission stage concludes. As a result, it is advised to only treat them during a lengthy and difficult battles.
How to effectively inflict Status Effects
Break the enemy unit’s guard.
To break an enemy’s guard, you must use melee attacks or skill attacks through a Persona.
Melee attack damage won’t be reduced by Guard, but skill attack damage will be reduced since they are considered long-range attacks.
Unlock and improve skill trees to increase chances of status infliction.
Allocate your Growth Points (GP) to skills in skill trees that improve status and ailment effects. Every playable unit has a unique set of status effects or ailments.

Persona 5 Tactica Skill Tree Guide
Assign Sub-Personas to enhance status effects.
Assign Sub-Personas to your units that has access to skills with bonus status effects or can boost status effects.
Attaching Sub-Personas that are compatible with your character’s elemental affinity is also recommended. For example, assign Jack Frost to Fox since he specializes in inflicting Freeze status.
However, if the majority enemies are you are facing are weak to Ice and are susceptible to Freeze status. You can also attach them to other party members.
Persona 5 Tactica Sub-Persona Guide
Make and equip gun weapons that boost status effects.
Enter the Velvet room in order to forge and equip new Gun weapons with bonus status effects. Take note that you need to fuse Personas first in order to craft specialized gun weapons.
