How To Challenge Gym Battle
To challenge gym, players need to raise Trainer Level up to Level 5.
The team that players need to choose when they are able to challenge gym does not differ in any color.
Players can choose the team that their friends are in or choose other color and oppose with each other.
To raise Trainer Level Efficiently
Players can Raise Their Trainer Level
By winning Gym Battle, the players can earn XP and raise their Trainer Level.
XP earned by Gym Battle are higher than XP earned by using Pokestop so you can say that it is efficient.
Players can Earn Pokecoin
As the player positions their Pokemon in their team’s gym, more Pokecoin they can earn from it.
Players can use Pokecoin and buy items in Pokemon GO.
Pokecoin are so-called charging item, so for non-charging user, this may become pretty important factor.
Explanation for Words used in Gym
Gym Level
Gym Level rise when the players earn certain amount of Prestige. Players can position more Pokemon by raising their Gym Level and by making opposing teams’ Gym Level to Level 1, players can make the gym go back into independent condition.
Prestige
Players can increase Prestige of the gym by conducting “Training” in gym owned by same team.
In the other hand, by challenging opposing teams’ gym and when they win in those battles, the player can decrease the opponent gym’s Prestige. When the Prestige decline to 0, the gym will become independent.
Players can decrease gyms’ Prestige just by defeating one Pokemon even though the opposing teams were positioning more than one Pokemon.
Training
Players can conduct “Training” in same team’s gym.
When the players win in Training, the gym’s Prestige will increase.
Pokemon the players defeated during Training will remain and when the players lose in Training, the Pokemon used for the battle will not faint and come back to the party remaining 1 HP.
How to Conduct Gym Battle
Explanation of the Screen
The human running icon at the very top is the “Surrender” icon.
When the player notices that they can’t win the battle, they can end the battle by surrendering.
The arrow icon at the very bottom is the “Replacing Pokemon” icon.
Players can replace the Pokemon they’re using for the battle to Pokemon in their party stock.
Remaining time is shown beside the Surrender icon.
The bar beneath Pokemon’s name is their HP.
Underneath that is the gauge for Move 2.
The moves designed in Move 2 are strong, but players need to fill up the necessary gauge.
