Bayek of Siwa
Bayek, the last member of Medjay, became one of the founding members of the Assassin brotherhood. He became active during the time and rise of the last pharaoh of Egypt, Cleopatra.
Story
While hailed as a local hero in Siwa, many of those in Egypt viewed him as an inconvenient relic. At one point, the Greek Ptolemies replaced the Medjay. With that, Bayek of Siwa soon returned to his village where he soon met with a woman named Aya, an Alexandrian Agent. While they initially didn’t hit it off, they soon became allies.
Aya served as the exiled Queen Cleopatra’s agent which Bayek had misgivings towards. But Bayek of Siwa places his misgivings aside upon hearing about The Order of the Ancients. As they began to control society through Ptolemy XIII, the assassin then works together with Aya and Queen Cleopatra to stop The Order of the Ancients. He then delves deeper into ancient Egypt’s history to look deeper into the power struggle.
Skills
- As a member of the Medjay, he has high martial prowess. He also is a master of the khopesh, spear, and bow.
- Unlike the other members of the Assassin Brotherhood, he wields a shield. However, he still possesses the Hidden Blade tool that’s meant for low-profile kills.
- Like all the assassins, he has skills in Free Running and Stealth. His Free Running also includes his ability to perform a Leap of Faith and other skills such as scaling walls and etc.
- Unlike the other assassins, his Eagle Vision is more prominent. While Altair, Ezio, and Desmond Miles simply had a change of view, Bayek actually has the ability to synchronize with his eagle, Senu.
