Game Overview

The Assassin’s Creed franchise is one of the most successful video game franchises of all time, spawning a myriad of games and other media since the release of the first game in 2007. The games mostly revolve around a fictional order of assassins fighting for peace with free will and their struggle against the Templars, who seek peace through control. Over the years, Assassins Creed has impressed people with its ability to immerse players into the story while blending fiction and history.

Assassin’s Creed takes heavy inspiration from the Slovenian writer Vladimir Bartol’s novel Alamut. Along with that, the game also makes use of various gameplay concepts from the Prince of Persia series.

Assassins Creed Origins will be the latest entry to the long-running stealth action-adventure series. However, the events will take place in Ancient Egypt. As confirmed by a leak of the demo scheduled to be shown at E3 2017 (Electronic Entertainment Expo 2017) on the popular internet forum Reddit, the game intends to delve into the deep mysteries and origins of the Brotherhood.

When more leaks began to surface, confirming the return of naval combat which according to the information, will be handled by the team behind Assassin’s Creed Black Flag. Assassin’ Creed Origins is also expected to provide an even more massive open-world experience, while combat will be more reaction-based.

Assassins Creed Origins is scheduled to be presented in this years E3 event. As soon as it comes out, it will be one of the main talking points during Ubisoft’s UbiE3 press conference with expo attendees on June 12 at the Orpheum Theatre in California.
