Demo Release Date Revealed: September 12, 2017!
With the official game coming out on September 29, 2017, Electronic Sports (EA) plans to release a demo for all the players on September . However, they intend to send out only to selected emails for the beta code. However, they did not confirm if it will release on the PS3 or the Xbox 360. Due to the two former consoles not operating on Frostbite Engine, Journey mode will not appear on the PS3 and the Xbox360. However, it will appear on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Some of the consoles however appear on different days. On other consoles such as the Playstation 4 and Playstation 3, it hangs around September 12, 2017 ~ September 13, 2017. The Xbox games swing between September 12, 2017 ~ September 19, 2017.
What does the Demo Mode Entail?
The demo mode entails a limited version of the kick-off mode. Players can play four minutes against the AI or they can play against a friend. However, the players can send their scores also to the EA Sports Club Demo. Players also have a chance to play the continuation of the Journey. Entitled the “Hunter Returns”, Alex Hunter goes out to make his mark in the world.
While players cannot migrate their progress to the official game, they can use this particular mode to decide if they want to buy the game.
