Strategy
- Practicing your last hits against minion creeps is vital when playing Trundle because he has a godly sustain with his passive King’s Tribute.
- Trundle is one of the best sustain heroes in-game because his kit is centered around lifesteal and regeneration. Capitalize on his kit and try to outsustain your enemy in the laning phase and be a little aggressive depending on his playstyle.
- (R) Subjugate is best used against tanky champions.
- (W) Frozen Domain and (E) Pillar of Ice are great tools for chasing enemy units as you will have a hefty amount of movement speed with (W) Frozen Domain while slowing the enemy down with (E) Pillar of Ice.
- Use (Q) Chomp on enemy champions as it decreases their damage output, giving you an edge in outtrading enemies. Another strategy is using (Q) Chomp on a minion then quickly attacking an enemy champion.

Playing Against
- Do not fight Trundle inside (W) Frozen Domain as he has increased attack speed and healing when inside the circle.
- It’s best to use your defensive skills after Trundle uses (R) Subjugate or when it is on cooldown since it gives gives off more stats to Trundle the tankier you are.
- Building items with Grievous Wounds against Trundle is effective because Trundle’s kit relies on healing and regeneration.
- Avoid team fights in tight spaces as Trundle’s (E) Pillar of Ice creates an impassable terrain that can cut you off from crucial team fights.
- Zoning Trundle is also a good strategy if you want to deny Trundle regeneration since his passive King’s Tribute heals him when an enemy minion dies near him.
