What are Skill Prisms?
Skill Prisms are a type of collectible resource in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope which are used to unlock a playable hero character’s various skills from a skill tree.
Learning as many skills and abilities throughout the game expands your team’s strategic options and overall performance in battle. Because of this, it is recommended to take the time accumulating Skill prisms as you go through the main story.
Ways to Get Skill Prisms
Leveling Up
You gain Skill Prisms by leveling up your hero characters which is done by clearing mission battles against a variety of regular enemies and bosses in the game. While exploring the different worlds, try to look for side quests you can do to gain levels and earn as many Skill Prisms as possible.
Refunding Spent Skill Prisms
It is possible to refund Skill Prisms you have spent, allowing you to reset the skills you have unlocked for each character. To do this, simply open the game menu by pressing the (-) button. Then, open the Heroes tab and select a hero character. Highlight a skill tree you want to reset and select the Refund option below to get back the Skill Prisms you spent.
Gold Prisms
A rare type of Skill Prism called Gold Prism can also be obtained by clearing certain side quests in the game that require you to take down powerful giant enemies. These special Skill Prisms are used to unlock the “hidden” Sparks skill tree of a playable hero character and cannot be refunded when used.
