Star Bits Farming Guide for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope
What are Star Bits?
Star Bits are a type of collectible item in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope which can be fed to Sparks to grant them experience points (XP). Star Bits appear as purple konpeito (a type of Japanese sugar candy) in the game.
Use to Level Up Sparks
Upon accumulating enough XP, Sparks will level up and gain enhanced skills and abilities. Because of the item’s usefulness, it is recommended to spend time farming Star Bits while progressing through the game’s main quests.
Aside from Star Bits, you can also use rare Star Potions to level-up Sparks. The latter, however, automatically raises the level of Sparks by 1 instead of simply giving XP.
Where to Get Star Bits
Defeating enemies.
Star Bits are dropped by enemies upon defeat. When farming Star Bits, you should try to take down all enemies on the map while doing as many quests as you can.
Hidden throughout various spots in the overworld.
As you explore the game’s overworld, try to check trees or rocks to find hidden Star Bits. Note that you can interact with certain objects while journeying throughout the different worlds so examine each spot carefully to get Star Bits.

Using Star Bits
To use Star Bits, open the Sparks menu and press the A button. Note that this process cannot be reversed so only feed Star Bits to Sparks that you intend to use frequently throughout the game.
