Olberic Demo Story
Cobbleston
- After the first cutscene for the Olberic Demo Story, you would need to go to the headman at the square.
- You can save your progress by talking to the man at the left side of the inn.
- Head south and talk to the old man standing at the front of the door of a nearby house.
- After talking to the headman, you will be given a guide about the Path Actions feature for the game.
- In Olberic’s case, his path action lets him challenge townspeople or villagers to a duel by talking to them using the Y button.
- Challenge the watchman to your left to a duel.
- The watchman is weak to daggers, so use your equipped weapon against the enemy. You may also want to test out your Boost Mode to see how much damage you can deal while using that mode.
- Challenge the other watchman and apply the same strategy that you used against the first enemy.
- A small cutscene will commence after you defeat the two watchmen.
- After the cutscene, walk up the stairs and another cutscene will commence.
- Head up the stairs and walk to the right. A battle will ensue between Olberic and some brigands.
- The brigands are weak to swords, so equip your sword first before attacking for a better chance of defeating them. Use the Healing Grape item when your HP is low.
- After the battle, head up the stairs to the right and up the stairs to the north. Go up the stairs to the right to head to the Mountain Pass. This will be the second location for the Olberic Demo Story.
Highlands – Mountain Pass
- Head north and interact with the treasure to get a Healing Grape x1.
- Go to the right and head up the stairs to the north.
- Head up left and take the stairs going north.
- Cross the bridge to the right.
- Go up the stairs and interact with the treasure chest to the left to get a Fire Soulstone x1.
- Talk to the brigands to the north. Defeat the brigands.
- Head inside the cave.
Enemies
- Azure Ratkin – Weak to swords
- Hill Ratkin – Weak to swords
- Giant Falcon – Weak to spears
Highlands – Brigands’ Den
- Go to the left then north. Keep heading north until you find a treasure chest containing a Jewel of Protection x1.
- Go back to where you came from at the end of the stairs, then go to the right.
- Keep going right until you reach a bridge. The boss battle for the Olberic Demo Story will commence once you cross the bridge.
Enemies
- Brigand – Weak to swords
- Black Bat – Weak to spears
Boss Battle – Gaston
- Before taking on Gaston, it is recommended that you take out the two brigands accompanying him first. Use the Level Slash ability to easily wipe out the brigands. You can also use the ability Abide to buff your offensive power.
- Gaston is weak to spears, so using the ability Spearhead can deal a good amount of damage against him.
- The boss would sometimes buff himself and use Bruising Blow, so make sure that you heal yourself after he uses this attack.
- After defeating Gaston, a long cutscene will commence. This marks the end of the Olberic Demo Story.
- However, you have the option to travel to the South Cobbleston Gap if you take the stairs to the right after the Olberic Demo Story is completed. If you take this small quest, Olberic will be able to meet a new hero.
