Dusk Form Lycanroc
Greetings Trainers. according to the Japanese variety show Pokenchi, Pokemon Sun and Moon Directory Shigeru Ohmori revealed that Lycanroc, the Wolf Pokemon that debuted in the Alola Region, has received a new form for the upcoming game Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.
By mere visual inspection, the Dusk Form closely resembles the Midday form save for its plumage and additional rock pattern positions. The Midday form which has a khaki outer covering, the New Dusk Form glows in a vibrant dandelion. Apart from that, its eyes illuminate a bright sea green color unlike the Midday’s cyan eyes.
Despite the reveal, the method on how to obtain this Pokemon is currently unknown. Another thing to note is that, given that there are two forms of Lycanroc in the previous games, it is possible to speculate for a fourth and possibly a variation of the Midnight form which will receive a similar treatment to the Dusk form.
If it obtains a counterpart, Is it going to be a Dawn form? Will it acquire a new move or is it going to retain the Midday form’s priority move Accelerock? Is it going to have a different stat distribution from its predecessor? Thoughts..
How is Lycanroc’s Midday form going to influence the VGC 2018 format?
As of the current format, its predecessor the Midday form bared its fangs in the past Japanese Championships 2017. It was used by Trainer Gouki Nakagawa as part of an interesting Hail-Sand Team, capitalizing on its doubled speed while the Sandstorm is raging.
