CLS Representatives Kaos Latin Gamers set to Make an Impact at Worlds 2017
Originally vying for a spot at Worlds with Latin America North, CLS has slowly garnered a strong community of hungry teams who are itching to get a seed at the international stage.
Among the teams, Kaos Latin Gamers emerged as CLS’ representatives, besting Isurus Gaming during the CLS Summer Split Playoffs. A veteran of IWCs, their performances have them inches away from victory on several occasions. They now have a chance to prove not just to LLN but to the other regions and their strong fanbase that CLS is a force to be reckoned with in this year’s World Championships.
Kaos Latin Gamers CLS Starting Team
MANTARRAYA is Kaos Latin Gamers’ Top Laner. One of the oldest active CLS players, he has significant experience playing in the International stage, namely the 2014 IWC Event where his team fell short against KaBuM! eSports. No doubt he’s shared his experience to his teammates, and they’ll use it to their advantage during their Play-In Stage.
Tierwulf is the resident shot-caller for Kaos Latin Gamers. He plays Jungle for his team, and has significant experience playing in CLS, most notably as the first South American LoL player to play competitively in CBLoL last season. Known for his aggressive playstyle, his knack of going all-in and playmaking prowess in crucial for Kaos Latin Gamers’ success in the Play-In Stage.
Plugo mans the Mid Lane for Kaos Latin Gamers. As a rookie, he has immersed himself in international competitive play which saw him participate IWCQ Brazil, IWCA Barcelona and IEM Oakland. He always scouts his opposing laner, determining which champion they tend to use, and finding a way to defeat them before the game starts.
Even though still a rookie, Fix has been garnering much acclaim as one of the best ADCs in their region. He has dominated every category during the Closing CLS Split this year. Moreover, he boasts a deep champion pool to address any team composition his team or the enemy team rolls out with.
Slow‘s reputation as one of the best Supports in the region is well-documented. He has held the distinction for three years in a row, in fact, he showcased his superior playmaking skills in his first stint with KLG this season. Nevertheless, it goes without saying that all eyes are on the veteran as his team trudges on the Play-In Stage this year.
Lastly, Focho finalizes KLG’s roster as their back-up ADC and Jungler. Often regarded as the glue that holds his team together, both players and fans alike are keen on his candid personality and unbridled spirit whenever he gets the chance to play for his team.
