World 5-2 is a level set in the desert again, with some enemy cacti lurking about. Obviously, you can’t kill them by jumping on them, but you can attack them from below. Winged Koopas are also plentiful in the area.

What to expect from Pokey Vaulting

1. Attack enemies from below. When you see a cactus on top of a mystery block, you can hit it to destroy the enemy. Keep in mind that the cacti move around, so be sure to time the chance to jump over them properly.
2.  Shells are your weapons. You’ll also run into some winged koopas. You can jump on them to take them out. Their shell will take out some enemies nearby, so use it to your advantage.
3. Better to go low than high. You’ll come across an area with a lot of moving platforms and winged koopas. The last jump has a very tall cactus you need to get over. But you can just go under. Just watch out for the winged koopa guarding the lower path. Be sure to avoid its shell once it hits a wall since it will quickly change direction to hit you.
4. Shot from a cannon. After reaching the end of the level, head for the flagpole by launching yourself from the cannon and on to World 5-3. Just watch out for the Winged Koopas floating nearby.
