To tie in with the celebration of 20th entry to the series, Pokemon the Movie: I Choose You!, Trainers who have a copy of Pokemon Sun or Pokemon Moon will be able to keep special Ash Cap Pikachu! Check the trailer above for a sneak peak of the upcoming movie!

The campaign starts on September 19, Trainers must check back on the official website Pokemon.com to obtain the special code in order to receive one of the 6 Ash Cap Pikachu. This special Pikachu will come with one of Ash’s Caps which is a tribute to various regions he has explored in the Anime. To top it off, the Special Ash Cap Pikachu comes with a set of special moves and an epic z-move based from that region!
TPCi warns that the Code can only be punched in once.
Stipulated in the official site, the following are the distribution dates for each Themed Cap:
- 9/19 ~ 9/25/17 – Kanto/ Johto Region Cap
- 9/26 ~ 10/2/17 – Hoenn Region Cap
- 10/3 ~ 10/9/17 – Sinnoh Region Cap
- 10/10 ~ 10/16/17 – Unova Region Cap
- 10/17 ~ 10/23/17 – Kalos Region Cap
- 10/24 ~ 10/30/17 – Alola Region Cap
It is not however verified if altering the 3DS clock would affect the outcome.
