Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon Dual Pack
Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon, the much-awaited follow-up to the franchise’s journey to Alola, is set for release on November 17, 2017. Ahead of its anticipated launch, Nintendo announces a special Dual Pack edition at the same date that the game hits the shelves worldwide.
The Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon Veteran Trainer’s Dual Pack is Nintendo’s upcoming offer to only the most die-hard of players of the game. Earlier information about the special bundle was hinted at Amazon in July, where it was earmarked for 80 USD. The price has recently been confirmed by Nintendo. Below are the details of what’s included in the pack.
- Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon 3DS game cards
- 16 art cards
- Download code to obtain 200 Poke Balls in the game
As another awesome treat, those getting either versions of the game before January 10 will get a special Rockruff that evolves into a new form of Lycanroc called “Dusk Lycanroc“.
This isn’t the first time that Nintendo has shipped a special edition of Pokemon that includes both versions of the game. On November 21, 2014, the company released a dual pack for Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. The previous bundle was also offered through Amazon, as well as Best Buy. Players who bought the pack also received a download code to get 100 free potions to help them in the game.
We couldn’t be more excited about the not-so-distant release of Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon and to discover what new features, locations and Pokemon have been added to an already awesome game. We’re also preparing ourselves for some deeper backstory about the mysterious Pokemon Necrozma, who looks to play a deeper part of the game’s narrative and how it related to Solgaleo and Lunala’s new forms. And what better way to experience the entirety of the game than to get both Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon at the same time as well as some sweet bonuses?
