Harv’s Island Version 2.0 Features Guide for Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Animal Crossing: New Horizon’s last free update (version 2.0) adds a new feature in Harv’s Island that lets you develop a plaza where many characters will set up new shops not available in the previous version of the game. The plaza is located in the open space just behind Harv’s photo studio on his island.

How to Access the Plaza on Harv’s Island

You must fist update your game to version 2.0. Then, talk to Orville at Dodo Airlines and ask him to take you to Harv’s Island. When you reach the location, Orville will tell you that Harv is missing. Afterwards, head to the open space past the wooden arch to find Harv talking with Harriet. You will then be able to begin the plaza development content.

Donate Bells to Fund Each Shop’s Development

Animal Crossing: New Horizons - Harv's Island Version 2.0 Features Guide

To make the shops appear, you will need to fund the development by donating Bells to the plaza. Talk to the various Gyroids standing at the site who will tell you what type of shop they plan to set up there.

Reese and Cyrus’ Shop (Furniture Customization Services)

Reese and Cyrus can customize any of your ready-made furniture for a fee. Note that it is also possible to modify types of furniture in ways that you cannot do so by yourself.

Katrina’s Shop (Daily Fortune Telling Services)

Katrina offers a fortune-telling service to give you her foresight of your day. Other effects of her services are currently unknown. More information on this will be added when the update launches.

Tortimer’s Shop (House Storage Transfer Services)

Talk to Tortimer to store or take out items from your house’s storage while on Harv’s Island if you need to manage your stuff while away from home.

Harriet’s Shop (New Hairstyles Services)

Animal Crossing: New Horizons - New Hairstyles (Harriet's Shop)

Harriet offers a selection of hairstyle to choose from, including new ones that were not available prior to the version 2.0 update. Because of this, her shop will likely be among the first shops ones players will try to develop first upon downloading the patch.
