Chapter 1: Trial of the Full Moon

Umbran Witch Castle

1	After starting a New Game, watch the introduction.
2	Use the left stick to move. Then, follow the path through the castle.
3	After talking to Jeanne, go through the gate and move across the ruins with Jeanne’s help.
4	Go up to the top of the castle and watch the cutscene.

Morgana’s Home

1	Approach Morgana.
2	Examine the well in the east and press the L button to draw water from it.
3	Head back to Morgana. Afterwards, go back to the well and head south to reach the southern herb field.
4	Approach an infernal plant and press ZL button + timing the left stick to grow them.
5	When one of the infernal plants comes alive, press and hold the ZL button to use Thorn Bind to catch it.
6	Pick up the basket and carry it back to Morgana.
7	At night, head to the north square by going east and up the stairs. Then, watch the cutscene.
8	After the event at the square, follow the path north to reach Avalon Forest.

Chapter 2: Into the Unknown

Avalon Forest – Whispering Path

1	Follow the straight path forward through the forest.
2	When you see some Onyx Roses on the left (glowing red orbs), climb up and collect them.
3	Continue along the path and climb up the vine ladder.
4	Cross the vines along the path.
5	Use Witch Pulse on the infernal plants to make them grow.
6	Climb up the plants and continue along the path while picking up Avalon Drops (glowing purple orbs).
7	Press the ZL button to use Thorn Bind on the enemy plant. Keep it held while heading for the path on the left.
8	Continue along the path for a cutscene.
9	After the cutscene, interact with the save point if you want to save your game. Then, continue along the path going north for another cutscene.
10	Control Cheshire with the right joycon and move northeast while destroying the bone-like roots using the ZR button (Cheshire Slash attack).
11	Defeat the faeries that appears. Then, watch the cutscene.
12	Move as a pair further along the path. Use Witch Pulse to grow the infernal plants to allow you to cross the gaps.
13	Go further for a cutscene. Since Cheshire cannot move through paths blocked by rosemary, have him take the path south up the slope. Have Cereza take the path going north through the rosemary.
14	Have each character follow their respective paths. You will eventually come to a section with a gap that Cheshire cannot cross. Let Cereza use Witch Pulse on the nearby infernal plant to make a bridge.
15	Once the pair is reunited, follow the path north.
16	Take down the enemy plant by using Thorn Bind (Cereza) first. Then, perform Slash attacks (Cheshire) to take it down.
17	Use Witch Pulse on the infernal plant to make it grow. This will also cause the others along the path to bloom. Collect the Onyx Roses and Avalon Drops along the path.
18	When you try to cross the vine, a cutscene play.
19	After the cutscene, move forward to the save point if you want to save. Then, use Hug Mode to latch into the green plant to the north to go up. Continue east and up the vine ladder.
20	Destroy the roots. Then, use Cheshire Toss (Hug Mode) to throw Cheshire up the white ledge. Operate Cheshire on the upper path until you reach the roots blocking Cereza’s path. Destroy them to reunite with Cereza.
21	Go up the slope blocked to the east (the one blocked by rosemary) using Cereza only. Walk around the upper path going to the left and then north to find another white ledge. Operate Cheshire this time and have him climb up the short ledge to reunite with Cereza. Then, toss Cheshire up to the white ledge.
22	Operate Cereza and reunite with Cheshire by going through the rosemary. Then, use Hug Mode again and latch into the green plant to cross the gap. Continue following the green plants and latching onto them. Eventually, you will drop down to a large open area for a battle against some faeries.
23	Open the chest that appears to get Healing Tonic.
24	Continue going north. Drop down to lower area nd toss Cheshire on the white ledge on the right. Then, use Thorn Bind on the enemy plant in the middle take it down using Cheshire’s slash attacks. Afterwards, have the pair reunite north under another white ledge. Be careful of the giant plants that open and close as they can damage you.
25	Toss Cheshire up the white ledge and have him move east on the upper path. Cereza should move east on the lower path.
26	Reunite the pair in front of the tunnel and latch onto the green plants to continue north.
27	When you land on the large circular platform, it will start to break. You will then start to ride the circular platform like a wheel.
28	Continue along the path until you reach a sanctuary. Pick up the Baked Gecko, Mandragora Root, and Unicorn Horn. Then, use the save point to craft a Healing Tonic.
29	Head for the next area to the north and watch the cutscene.

Avalon Forest – Jade Hill

1	Review the controls. Then, follow the path again to catch up with the white wolf.
2	Follow the wolf tracks. As you turn west, destroy the roots to reveal a chest containing Blast Cocktail.
3	Continue following the wolf tracks to the north.
4	Use ZL near the infernal plant on the upper left to dispel the illusion. Then, use Witch Pulse on the plant to grow it and make a bridge across.
5	Continue going north and use ZL to dispel the illusion on the cracked spot of the portal.
6	Enter the portal for a cutscene. This concludes the playable demo for Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon.

Demo Progress Can be Carried Over to the Full Game.
