Icon Description
  Fleet on Foot

Sivir gains a short burst of Movement Speed when she attacks an enemy champion.

Boomerang Blade
(Target Range: 1250, Speed: 1250, Cost: 70/80/90/100 Mana, Cooldown: 9)ACTIVE: Sivir hurls her crossblade like a boomerang, which deals 25/45/65/85/105 (+70/80/90/100/110% Attack Damage) (+50% Ability Power) physical damage to the first target hit and 15% reduced damage to each subsequent target down to a minimum of 40%.
Ricochet
(Cost: 60 Mana, Cooldown: 12/10.5/9/7.5/6)ACTIVE: Sivir’s next 3 basic attacks bounce to nearby targets, dealing 100% Attack Damage physical damage to the first target and 0% Attack Damage physical damage to each subsequent target. If a given Ricochet attack critically strikes its first target, all subsequent bounces from that attack will also critically strike.Targets cannot be hit more than once by a given Ricochet attack and on-hit effects are applied only to the first target of each attack.
Spell Shield
(Cooldown: 22/19/16/13/10)ACTIVE: Sivir creates a magical barrier for 1.5 seconds that blocks the next incoming enemy ability. If an ability is blocked by the shield, Sivir regains 80/95/110/125/140 Mana.
On The Hunt
(Effect Radius: 1000, Cost: 100 Mana, Cooldown: 120/100/80)PASSIVE: Sivir gains 30/45/60% Attack Speed while Ricochet is active.ACTIVE: Sivir rallies her allies for 8 seconds, granting all nearby allies an initial 40/50/60% Movement Speed bonus that reduces to 20% after the first 2/3/4 seconds of On The Hunt elapse.

Strategy

  • Harass your matchup in the bot lane with (W) Ricochet. This newly-reworked skill deals a ton of damage while also helping you farm up the lane.
  • It’s best to use (Q) Boomerang Blade when you are face-to-face with an enemy champion, as it can be hard to land in long range because it is slow. Activate (Q) Boomerang Blade on where you think they are going, rather than where they are standing.
  • Kiting is very effective as Sivir because her passive, Fleet on Foot, gives her movement speed when she hits an enemy champion.
  • (E) Spell Shield is one of the signature Sivir abilities that you need to master. Time your (E) Spell Shield when you think your enemy is about to use a skill against you. Be careful though, because the enemy might foresee this and not use any skill at all, therefore wasting your mana. It is also advisable not to spam your (E) Spell Shield if the enemy has an aggressive jungler, so you can save it in an event of a gank. It has a long cooldown, so you must always time your spell shields.
  • Her ultimate, (R) On the Hunt, is what makes Sivir a unique ADC, as she buffs her allies with movement speed for 8 seconds. This skill is good for engaging and disengaging. Communication is key when using this skill, because a well-coordinated (R) On the Hunt can surprise the enemy team and even turn the game hugely in your favor.

Core Items
Infinity Edge Icon Phantom dancer icon Berserker's Greaves icon
Infinity Edge Phantom Dancer Berserker’s Graves

Infinity Edge – Infinity Edge is supposed to be your first core item on Sivir. It gives decent damage and the critical strike chance, which you need in the early game since she is fairly weak in the laning phase.

Phantom Dancer – Phantom Dancer gives Sivir extra attack speed, movement speed, and critical strike chance. Sivir’s passive and (R) On the Hunt grants her excellent kiting ability and movement speed. The extra mobility passive of Phantom Dancer, along with the Lament passive, will make Sivir an obvious threat in 1v1 situations against enemy ADCs.

The Bloodthirster Guardian Angel Berserker’s Greaves

Essence Reaver – This is where both the critical strike chance of Infinity Edge and Phantom Dancer will get its maximum potential. The more critical strike chance you have, the more cooldown reduction you’ll have. This helps you in spamming your (Q) Boomerang Blade and (W) Ricochet.

The Bloodthirster – The Bloodthirster is your main lifesteal item. This item grants damage and a ton of lifesteal which fits perfectly well with your critical strikes.

Guardian Angel – Guardian Angel gives him attack damage and an extra life if in case she gets caught in team fights. She has no mobility aside from her (R) On the Hunt, and her only form of escaping enemies is her (E) Spell Shield, so having this is a must.

Berserker’s Greaves – Berskerker’s Greaves increases her attack speed and movement speed.

Rapid Firecannon Icon
Rapid Firecannon

Lord Dominik’s Regards/ Mortal Reminder – Build the former if the enemy team is filled with tanky champions that stacks armor. If there are champions on the enemy team who have health regeneration, ( Soraka, Dr. Mundo, and Garen) build Mortal Reminder instead.

Maw of Malmoritus – This item fits well if you want an AD item with resistance to magic damage. Build this if there is a bursty AP mage on the other team.

Rapid Firecannon – Substitute this with Phantom Dancer if you want more bonus range in your auto attack. It will  also help you in positioning and kiting enemy champions.

Playing Against

  • A typical Sivir lane usually sees her build items that increase her critical strike chance for her (W) Ricochet. Defensively, build armor items to mitigate her damage.
  • Never waste a skill on her if her (E) Spell Shield is still up. Instead, try to bait her until her (E) Spell Shield is down before casting a skill on her.
  • Sivir’s (Q) Boomerang Blade is slow, yet deals a lot of damage on both ways. Do not underestimate the skill and try to evade it.
  • Sivir is also a great split and farmer with her (W)Richochet. Do not leave her unattended in lane, and try to ask ganks from your jungler or top laner.
  • Sivir is auto-attack dependent, so building armor items like Thornmail or Frozen Heart decrease her power drastically.
  • Sivir activating (R) On The Hunt in the laning phase usually means that a jungler is nearby or they are confident and will try to engage on you. Be sure that their jungler is not around before retaliating.

Hard Counter

Vayne –  Vayne is a very strong against Sivir because of how she makes Sivir’s kit worthless. Her Tumble can easily avoid Sivir’s Boomerang Blade. Sivir also cannot disengage with her On The Hunt, as Vayne’s passive increases her movement speed if she is moving towards an enemy. Final Hour also makes Vayne invisible for a brief moment, enabling her to kite Sivir while evading Boomerang Blade at the same time.

Twitch – Twitch is another champion who gives Sivir a bad time. Twitch’s auto attack poisons the target, this can’t be blocked by Spell Shield. This is, however, a fairly even game in the later stages if Sivir manages to farm and outscale Twitch.

Tristana – Tristana is also a good ADR pick against Sivir because of how instantaneous her skill is. The skills of Tristana doesn’t have an indication, forcing Sivir to randomly use (E) Spell ShieldBuster Shot can also knock back Sivir when she uses (R) On the Hunt.
