Game Difficulty

Please note that information here are currently only speculated and have not been confirmed in any official sources. We will update this page when the game comes out.

As with the first game, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will likely have four difficulty modes which can be changed at any time during play. The difficulty setting that you choose mainly affects the game’s combat, making enemies easier more challenging.

Mode Details
Friendly Easy difficulty mode. Enemies have lower health and deal less damage. Recommended for beginners or those who simply wish to enjoy the game’s story.
Amazing Medium difficulty mode. The default setting where enemies have a balanced amount of health and deal average damage. Recommended for players familiar with action-adventure games who are looking for a decent amount of challenge.
Spectacular Hard difficulty mode. Enemies have more health and deal more damage compared to Amazing difficulty. Recommended for players familiar with action-adventure games who want a good challenge.
Ultimate* Very Hard difficulty mode. Enemies deal more damage compared to Spectacular difficulty, with even basic ones able to kill you in about two hits.

*This difficulty mode is expected to be added in a later update of the game.

Which Difficulty Should I Choose?

Since it is likely that you would be able to change difficulty at any time, it is recommended to play on Amazing (Medium) to get a feel for the game’s default setting while giving you a fair amount of challenge when up against certain enemies, especially bosses. From there, you can freely switch to a lower or higher setting if you feel that combat is too easy or too hard.
