Found at the Tank Hangar B2F Armory.

You can get the C4 explosive in Metal Gear Solid (MGS1) at the Tank Hangar Armory B2F. It is inside the north room which requires an ID Card Lv.1 to access.

How to use C4

Used to destroy breakable walls.

You can use C4 to blow up the discolored walls on the north and south sections of the Tank Hangar B2F Armory.

Can be used to deal damage to Vulcan Raven.

C4s can also be used during the boss battle against Vulcan Raven. You can plant the C4 in advance along the path that Vulcan Raven will pass through and then detonate it when he is within range to deal damage to him.
