Found inside the southeast room of the Tank Hangar B2 Armory.

You can get the FAMAS assault rifle in Metal Gear Solid (MGS1) inside the southeast room of the Tank Hangar B2 Armory. Note that you will need an ID Card Lv.2 to get inside.

There are infrared traps in the room so equip Thermal Goggles or use Cigarettes to avoid hitting them.

How to use FAMAS

Used in forced encounters.

The FAMAS is a weapon that can be fired continuously and is convenient for dealing with multiple enemies.

Firing the FAMAS, however, will cause enemies to be alerted as the weapon does not have any muffling or silencing effect.

Press □ to lock on and release □ to fire.
