1	Disable the main gun with Chaff Grenades.
2	Throw a Grenade into the driver’s seat
3	Collect items at the top of the map.

Metal Gear Solid (MGS1) Boss List

Disable the main gun with Chaff Grenades.

The M1 Tank’s main gun can be disabled with Chaff Grenades.

When the tank’s main gun becomes unusable, it will switch to attacking using its machine gun.

Since the main gun is very powerful, use Chaff Grenades as often as possible to avoid getting hit and suffering massive damage.

Throw a Grenade into the driver’s seat.

The M1 Tank’s health bar can be reduced by throwing a grenade into the driver’s seat.

You can throw a Grenade by pressing □ button with the weapon equipped.

Collect items at the top of the map.

Rations and more Grenades can be collected at the top of the map. Be sure to pick them up if you run out of them.
