Revolver Ocelot Boss Guide (Strategy)

1	Do not touch the wires around Kenneth Baker in the center of the stage.
2	Use a Stun Grenade to allow you to get close to Revolver Ocelot.
3	Approach Revolver Ocelot when he reloads after firing 6 shots.

Metal Gear Solid (MGS1) Boss List

Do not touch the wires around Kenneth Baker in the center of the stage.

Kenneth Baker is surrounded by wires that explode when touched.

Move around the area while avoiding the center to avoid an instant Game Over.

Use a Stun Grenade to allow you to get close to Revolver Ocelot.

Revolver Ocelot will always run away if you try to approach him normally. You will not be able to catch up to him this way.

Throwing a stun grenade will make him flinch for a short peroid, making it easy for you to close the distance and deal damage.

Approach Revolver Ocelot when he reloads after firing 6 shots.

Revolver Ocelot will reload after firing 6 rounds. Since there is a gap in his offense as he is reloading, you will get a chance to attack him.

Note that the revolver bullets ricochet, so even if you are hiding behind a pillar, you will still get hit. Always keep running around to make it harder for Revolver Ocelot to hit you.
