Focus on Strength
Focus on leveling up Strength as it scales the most with Odachi. Though as not effective as Strength, leveling up Stamina is also effective.
Weapons that require somewhat similar stats but scale differently are the Dual Swords and Axe.
Balanced Stats for Early Game
The status increase between level 5 to level 10 is large compared to other levels for all stats. Therefore, it’s better to balance out your stats rather than focusing on just one stat in the early game.

About Build
Focusing on Strength is first priority as it scales the most with the Odachi. After you max out Strength, focus on Stamina as it also increases Odachi’s damage output.

Overview and Strategy
High Damaging Weapon with Wide Range
Odachi is a wide range weapon with with high damage output per hit. It’s mid stance allows players to easily deplete enemy’s Ki, which is another characteristic of this weapon.
Switch Between High and Mid Stance
In a 1v1 situation use high stance to hit and run, and use mid stance when going against multiple enemies. Use the skill Moonlit Snow whenever there’s a chance as it can deal massive amount of damage.
